D18/from €295,000: Two-bedroom apartments are launching from plans today at Cruagh Wood, a Stepaside, Dublin 18, scheme by Glenford Construction at Cruagh Manor. This development attracted queues when first launched at the offices of Hamilton Osborne King last year.
Prices are from €295,000 for two-bedroom apartments in this second phase, with 58 units selling from plans. The development is located just outside the village of Stepaside, 11 miles from the city centre; there will be a Luas station a short drive from the site at Sandyford and the M50 will also be accessible from here. It is close to the new shopping centre at Dundrum, due to open next spring.
Cruagh Wood will be laid out in a number of five-storey mansard-roofed blocks with good balconies and a communal landscaped garden at the centre. The two-bedroom apartments range in size from 60-75 sq m (646-807 sq ft) and some will have own-door access.
Most units will include an en suite shower off the main bedroom. Kitchens will be maple, with a full range of appliances. Kitchen and bathroom floors and walls will be fully tiled and all bedrooms will have fitted wardrobes. The apartments will have an alarm system.
Apartments booked this weekend are expected to be ready by summer next year. Plans are available for inspection at the offices of Hamilton Osborne King weekdays and this Saturday from noon to 2 pm.
