Co Dublin from €420,000: The first 80 apartments of 350 units to be built on an 11-acre site at Galloping Green in Co Dublin will be sold from a marketing suite from today. Kate McMorrow reports.

A marketing suite opens today for a new launch of apartments at Beech Park near Galloping Green, just off the Stillorgan Road and opposite its junction with Brewery Road, Co Dublin.

Selling agent Sherry FitzGerald New Homes is taking deposits for the first 80 two-bedroom apartments out of a total of 350 units on the entire site when completed.

The location of the 11-acre site is its strongest selling point, although viewers will be impressed by the good spec fit-out. Beech Park is convenient to a QBC bus corridor, the Luas at Sandyford business park, and UCD.

The units are exceptionally spacious. Prices start at €420,000 for two-bedroom apartments of 70-76 sq m (753-818 sq ft), all with decent-sized balconies to take advantage of the views.

Beech Park is a development by Jackson Homes, which promises an impressive interior standard of finish: apartments will have solid oak kitchen units and integrated appliances included in the purchase price.

Electric oven, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer are standard and worktops will be black polished granite.

Bathrooms are to be equally smart, with underfloor heating, Italian porcelain wall and floor tiling and a marble vanity top.

Sanitary ware will be recessed into the walls.

Bedrooms will have sleek ivory-painted wardrobes with long bar handles and there will be an en suite shower off the largest room.

One basement parking place is allocated to each apartment free of charge, with internal lifts accessing all units. Landscaping will not be skimped and should mature fast.

This phase of Beech Park will be ready for completion by mid-2006.
