BORED of visiting the same holiday home every year, but resent the idea of forking out for accommodation in another destination while your holiday pad is empty? Enter stage left young entrepreneur Brian O'Donnell.
Greystones-born Brian has come up with a clever idea for owners suffering from holiday home ennui. PropertySwap.ie is a new website where owners of holiday homes - both at home and abroad - can arrange a property exchange with other holiday home owners. All members of the site have to do is up-load images of their property and include a brief description and hope that someone else fancies the look of their holiday home.
The site went live this week and will be officially launched in the New Year. PropertySwap.ie has an introductory offer of six months free subscription for the first 50 members. After that membership will be based on a yearly subscription fee of €100 thereafter (€50 for the first 50 subscribers).
Brian got the idea for the site from friends and family who own holiday homes and who were "sick and tired of going to the same place".
