Eighteen one and two-bedroom apartments and 10 townhouses are going on sale in the final phase of Carnegie Court in Swords in north Dublin, with prices starting at £129,500.
A mixed residential and commercial development, Carnegie Court is situated behind Carnegie Library on North Street. Ross McParland is handling the residential sales. Built around a courtyard, the units are accessed through an archway from North Street. The one-beds vary in size from 538 sq ft to 592 sq ft and prices start at £129,500. Apartment prices since the last launch in September 2000 have remained static. The two-beds vary from 665 sq ft to 764 sq ft and cost from £159,500. An underground car-parking space is included in the cost.
There will be a total of 71 apartments and townhouses in the scheme, which is being developed by Seaview Ltd, which also built the Aer Lingus leisure complex and Swords Vocational school.
The first phase of 40 homes sold out in a single day last October. The entire scheme is scheduled for completion in March. Facades will have a distinctly Georgian look and will be of brick and stone with cobbled courtyards and landscaping . The two-bedroom townhouses cost from £173,950 and range in size from 699 sq ft to 732 sq ft.
Service charges will be £500 for the one-beds, £550 for the two-beds and £600 for the townhouses.
