The second phase of Bride's Glen in Swords, Co Dublin, goes on sale this weekend through Ross McParland with prices from £162,995 (#206,960) for three-bedroom semi-detached houses.

Forty-seven three and four-bedroom semi-detached and four-bedroom detached houses make-up the second phase of the Kingscroft Developments Ltd scheme, which has totted up almost £25 million (#31.74) in sales for Bride's Glen and its adjoining identical scheme, Sandford Wood, to date.

Located north of Swords village close to the Motorola campus, the 120 redbrick fronted homes will be a continuation of Sandford Wood and will comprise a mix of three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached units, fourbedroom semis and fourbedroom detached houses.

Ten miles from the city centre and minutes from the airport, Swords village has been given a facelift in recent times. Thousands of new homes have been built around the village in the past five years stretching the city's boundaries further and further. Dublin bus has extended routes to serve commuters in these new developments.

While many of the new estates are quite far from the village centre, developments around the Motorola campus area will benefit from a proposed new village centre at the Applewood scheme. Across the road from Bride's Glen and Sandford Wood, the village-style complex will incorporate a supermarket, banking hall, pharmacy, creche, office units and pub with restaurant above. The Pavilions Shopping Centre opened on Tuesday.

This phase includes five three-bedroom terraced houses, and three end-of-terrace units, 17 three-bedroom semi-detached houses, 20 four-bedroom semi-detached houses and two four-bedroom detached houses.

Prices start from £162,995 (#206,960) for the 948 sq ft three-bedroom terraced house; £171,995 (#218,388) for the 1,100 sq ft three-bedroom end-of-terrace and semi-detached homes; from £194,995 (#247,592) for the 1,260 sq ft semi-detached houses and from £253,995 (#322,507) for the four-bedroom detached homes.

Kitchens feature Shakerstyle maple units with chrome handles and patio doors to rear garden. There are double doors to interconnecting living and diningrooms.

Outside, front gardens are levelled, seeded and shrubbed. There is a patio area in the back garden.
