Dublin 8: from €290,000Apartments in a convenient city location with Section 23 tax breaks go on sale from plans today at the offices of Hooke & MacDonald.

Prices are from €290,000 for one-beds and €350,00 for two-bed units at McGovern's Corner, a scheme of 46 apartments fronting onto Marrowbone Lane and Cork Street in Dublin 8. Galway-based Lalco is the developer for this scheme and Horan Keoghan Ryan are the architects.

Investors can benefit from tax relief on all rental income in this jurisdiction, including commercial. Owner-occupiers can set the purchase price (net of site cost) against all income, including PAYE, over 10 years.

This is phase two at McGovern's Corner, with 25 units already sold in an earlier launch. McGovern's Corner consists of two blocks, one five and the other four storeys high. All will have good balconies, many with views into a courtyard.
