A private investor has paid in the region of £850,000 for a substantial four-storey building at 7/9 Aston Quay, owned mainly by Temple Bar Properties. The ground floor is occupied by Liffeycraft under a long lease at £22,000 per annum, but the three upper floors are vacant. There is planning permission to provide an additional floor and also to extend the first floor level. The upper floors, which have almost 8,000 square feet of space, are in need of upgrading, but the work will qualify for Temple Bar area tax breaks. Agents Quinn Agnew could not confirm the sale.
