Three Temple Bar retail investments with capital allowances have been sold to a businessman for £420,000. He paid £300,000 for two units in Sprangers Yard, one a bookshop the other a furniture store and gallery, which are producing a combined rent of £22,500 per annum. Both investments offer 100 per cent capital allowances on top of a yield of 7 per cent. The third shop with 50 per cent capital allowances, made £120,000. It is let to a fashion retailer at a rent of £10,000 per annum. The yield was 7.75 per cent. Jones Lang Wootton and Mason Owen Lyons handled the sales.
