THE strength of the retail market will be tested shortly when Douglas Newman Good assign the leasehold interest of the Peter Mark hairdressing salon beside the new Jervis Centre in Mary Street, Dublin l. The agent is seeking key money of around £200,000 for the 2,000-square-foot premises which are rented at £64,500 per annum. Another Peter Mark outlet at 8 Anglesea Buildings, Upper George's Street, Dun Laoghaire, was withdrawn at auction at £181,000 by Douglas Newman Good and sold subsequently. The company is to move to Bloomfields shopping centre.

Douglas Newman Good has sold the former Zerep Shoes shop at 37 Capel Street, Dublin 1, for close to £200,000. It was bought by Charles J Johnston Shop Fitters.
