Olivia Delaney of O 20th Century Furniture sells furniture and lighting from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, much of it Danish or Scandinavian.
Passing by her window you'll see this newly-arrived 1970s chandelier. Made in Italy, it is for sale at €1,200 but even so, we're amazed it hasn't sold because it's such a strong example of a particular - and currently very fashionable - type of 1970s lighting that took the basic idea of a chandelier and used materials such as plastic and glass in a different way.
It's the kind of thing that will be loved or hated but when it's lit, there's no doubt the effect is spectacular.
The opaque cream plastic and brown glass discs hang from a central metal frame. Delaney says she could see this piece not just in a modern interior but also, and maybe more successfully, in a hall with traditional coving and cornicing.
This is also a collectable piece - think of it as investment similar to a piece of art.
