In the Jervis Shopping Centre, UK confectionery retailer Thorntons has leased a small unit inside the front entrance. The company is paying £40,000 for the 300-square-foot outlet under the escalator and directly opposite NEXT. Fintan Tierney of Lambert Smith Hampton negotiated the deal. Hamilton Osborne King were joint letting agents. Lambert Smith Hampton has also let a 890-square-foot shop at The Square, Tallaght, to UK trader Applewoods, which specialises in toiletries and cosmetics. The rent will be £65,000 per annum. Ken Stewart of the agency said Applewoods hopes to acquire more premises in the near future.
