Malahide Marina village, a mixed scheme of apartments and townhouses, was launched in 1995. Built by McGarrell Reilly, back then you could buy a three-bedroom townhouse for around £90,000. An end-of-terrace three-bed house, number 238 Marina Village, Malahide, Co Dublin, is now on the market through HOK Residential for £365,000 (#463,450).

A number of properties in the development have come on the market in the last year which the agents put down to "a transitional" phase given that the development is now six years old.

Located 10 miles from the city centre in Malahide Village, the house is built over three levels and is spacious at 1,400 sq ft.

Tastefully decorated, it is in walk-in condition with polished maple floors in most rooms and double-glazed teak windows. The main reception rooms are at entrance level. The hall has an understairs storage area and the kitchen is fitted with an extensive range of oak cupboards. The lounge/diningroom area has a large bay window, coving and a fireplace with polished granite and oak surround. A door leads out to a large balcony with views of the Broadmeadows Estuary.
