The first three penthouses in an apartment development overlooking the River Liffey beside the Phoenix Park in Dublin 8, go on the market today and are likely to be snapped up quickly. Catherine O'Connor of Hamilton Osborne King is handling sales in the Riverpark scheme.
One of the units, a one-bed home with 500 sq. ft, is priced at £210,000. The other two (costing £325,000 and £335,000) are considerably more glamorous with floor areas of 1,075 sq. ft, including three-bedrooms and spacious reception areas. Both are ideal for entertaining, with huge terraces wrapped around them offering views over the river on one side and the Phoenix Park on the other. Both of the homes have a full bathroom with the main bedroom and an en suite shower room with the second bedroom.
A car-parking space is included in the selling price and there is an option to buy a second space at £12,500. Capel Developments has achieved a high level of sales in the first two blocks released. Of the 33 homes in the Phoenix block, only two remain, a two-bed unit on the sixth floor at £198,000 and a one-bedroom at £148,000. Sales have been equally brisk in the second block where only six of the 43 apartments are still available. Two one-beds are priced at £158,000 and four two-beds can be bought at £192,000.
