The latest Irish airport planning a business park, Sligo, is to proceed with the first phase of the development. This week local agent, Declan Byrne, is to offer three of the 20 serviced sites for sale by tender. The industrial sites have a combined area of 3.6 acres and are located beside the regional airport buildings at Strandhill. The enterprise park also has available a three-acre site which is earmarked for a high quality IT office-type development. The Government has awarded enterprise area tax designation for the 40 acre park for specific projects. Aer Lingus operates two daily return flights from Dublin to Sligo and the airport board is also promoting charter flight, air freight services and other air related activities.
