A retail warehouse of almost 50,000 square feet at the entrance to Airways Industrial Estate near Dublin Airport is to be offered for sale through Harrington Bannon at £3.6 million. Patrick Curran of the same agency is quoting £1.7 million for a separate warehouse building of almost 31,000 square feet in the same estate, which, like the first one, is to be vacated next October The retail warehouse, unit 26, was one of the first of its kind in the country and was originally occupied by MFI and Power City. It was subsequently let to Irish Express Cargo at a current rent of £240,000 per annum but that company has given notice of its intention to avail of a break option in October, 1998, and move to a new headquarters building in Rosemount Business Park. Mr Curran says the building could be subdivided into a number of retail units, subject to planning permission. The second warehouse is also to be vacated next October by Irish Express Cargo who are paying a rent of £140,000 per annum. Both units are located opposite Woodford Business Park and close to the M50-M1 intersection.
