MAKING A grand entrance requires dramatic touches and a crystal chandelier is central to setting the scene.

Arnotts told Like the Look that the Ashbourne nine-arm is still available to order with a wait time of four or five weeks.

The pair of gilded salon chairs add another theatrical flourish. Mealys Auction House in Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny (056 4441229) has a pair of gilt French armchairs with an estimated price of €4,600 at its forthcoming auction, which takes place on Tuesday, July 7th at 10.30am.

The wool Rabat rug was shipped back from Morocco by the owner. The Moroccan Furnishing Company and N2 Flooring and Furniture (01 8498148) can source something similar for you.
