The name Castlemartin is associated with businessman Tony O'Reilly, who has his country estate there, but soon a few thousand people could share that address in Kilcullen. Local agent Andrew J Nolan is currently marketing 24 acres of house building land directly opposite Mr O'Reilly's estate, which could accommodate up to 500 houses. A short distance away, another 25-acre site with outlying planning permission for 158 houses has also come on the market. The O'Reillys enjoy the privacy and it will be interesting to see whether they are among the bidders for the multi-million sites close to the Co Kildare village.
