Sales ResultsIn one of the final auctions of the year, Sherry FitzGerald failed to attract a buyer yesterday for Ellesmere, at 66 Orwell Park in Rathgar. The five-bedroom Victorian detached house, which is in immaculate order and has a large garden, is now asking €4.5 million, by private treaty.
Elsewhere in Dublin 6, the same agent had better luck with 70 Fortfield Road in Terenure, a handsome Edwardian semi that needs work. It sold by private treaty for a price believed to be in the region of €1.55 million.
