Wyse Property has just opened a new office on the corner of one of the south central city’s most prominent landmarks. The estate agent and property manager has set up shop beside the prominent “Joe Byrne Bets Here” mural on the island triangle in the middle of Upper Leeson Street, in a premises previously occupied by a convenience store.
It’s a bold move for the low-key operator that is bound to catch the passing eye of much of Wyse’s target market in the city centre and Dublin southside area. Of course, same passersby will be spoiled for property services choice now, because the other peak of the triangle heading out of town is occupied by Lisney’s city flagship premises.
Peter Wyse says the move marks an expansion of the company’s sales and letting business, and is a bid to create a stronger high-street presence. Well no better spot for subliminal advertising if the hordes of upwardly-mobile types revelling outside legendary O’Brien’s pub across the road in the recent sunny weather are anything to go by.
