Screening at The Button Factory

Best known for his dour (and sometimes astonishingly violent) films about British working-class life t'up north, such as Dead Man's Shoes and This Is England, Shane Meadows brings his latest project to Dublin's The Button Factory. Completed in 2009, but as yet unreleased in Ireland, The Living Room is a personal documentary made about musician Gavin Clark, Meadows' long-term collaborator and friend; the screening is followed by a one-off live set from Clark himself.
