A round up of today's other bike stories in brief...
One Month To Festa Ducati
Europe's biggest gathering of Ducati owners takes place on July 5th and 6th at the Nürburgring GP-Circuit in Germany. Shows, riding displays, music and entertainment will be provided on both days and entrance is free.
Besides the chance to ride your own bike around the famous Nürburgring GP-circuit, the SBK two-seater will also be available for those who want to experience howa professional rider tackles the track. A collection of historic bikes will also be on display, including Mike Hailwood's legendary 250 to Casey Stoners world championship winning Desmosedici. A campsite will be set up near the paddock area for anyone thinking of making a last-minute dash to Germany.
Yamaha's new speedy V-Max
This is the first official picture of the Yamaha V-Max, which is expected to be the fastest acceleration production motorcycle in the world when it hits the street later this year.
More details will be announced this week but its widely anticipated that the V-Max will re-claim the acceleration crown first held by the original V-Max back in 1984. The V4 engine is expected to at least 1800cc in capacity and produce in excess of 200hp.
