Hone your skills with Harley

EVEN THE most experienced rider could use a brush-up on their bike skills.

Every Saturday from April 18th to May 16th, Dublin Harley-Davidson rider training school will hold “Slow Control” sessions.

There are sessions from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm on Saturdays April 18th and 25th and May 9th and 16th.

The Institute of Advanced Motorists in Ireland will give tuition at €25 per rider.

Iain Duffus gives biking advice

IF YOU fancy a ride-out and some invaluable motorcycle advice from road racing champion Iain Duffus then hop on your bike and head to Maddocks, off the M11, Bray this weekend.

Duffus will “do tyre pressure checks and other adjustments for you on your bike on the day and tyre pressures for one- and two-up options as well as fully laden and complete off-road set-ups”, says Maddocks.

On Sunday there’s a ride out, with Duffus leaving Maddocks at 10.30am.

Concept bike from Luca Bar

ITALIAN MOTORCYCLE designer Luca Bar has designed a concept machine called the Aprilia Street.

The Aprilia SXV550 is, according to Visordown news, angular with an “under- slung exhaust and kicked-up rear end, making Luca’s design look like a cross between Aprilia’s Mana X concept bike and a KTM Duke”.
