New helmet by Schumacher

German helmet maker Schuberth has announced that the seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher is involved in the development of sports motorcycle helmets. Schumacher used Schuberth helmets when he raced in F1 and now that he's become a keen bike racer, he has again become involved in developing lightweight, aerodynamic and ultra-safe motorcycle helmets, kicking off with the new Schuberth Race helmet.

Celebrate speed at Goodwood

This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed will celebrate the British Superbike Championship by gathering a huge array of historic machinery and famous riders, including championship winners Terry Rymer on his 1990 Yamaha OW01 and Jamie Whitham riding Niall Mackenzie's 1998 Yamaha YZF750. Vision Zero's bike-friendly road

The president of the Federation of European Motorcyclists' Association, Hans Petter Strifeldt, has proclaimed the first Vision Zero road in Europe "a milestone" for motorcycle safety.

Vision Zero started as a Government policy aimed at consigning road deaths and injuries to the history books. Its 15km stretch of road in Norway has improved visibility through bends and biker-friendly crash barriers.
