The BMW Cruise Bike was awarded the 2007 Federal Republic of Germany Design Prize and the iF product design award 2006 for its combination design and safety details. It is fitted with a 24-gear Alivio shifter from Shimano and Suntour NRX-6000 suspension forks. It is available in two different colours, Pearl White and Carbon Blue, and will also take normal child seat models with standard frame assemblies. It weighs 13.9 kg, and is available in various frame sizes.
