Hard shoulderThe first official pictures of the Ferrari California have been revealed. The new model will be available only as a convertible with a folding hard top. Both the chassis and bodywork are aluminium and the new V8 engine will be mounted in the mid-front position.
The 4.3-litre V8 puts out 460 bhp and will sprint the car from 0-100km/h in less than four seconds. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
The car features a new multi-link rear suspension system and is equipped with the F1-Trac traction control system. Carbon-ceramic brakes feature as standard.
