DUBLIN: From next Saturday weekend services will return to normal between Pearse Station and Greystones. DART upgrade works will now commence on the northside.

The northside programme of works is expected to continue for about 10 months, excluding the three weekends prior to Christmas, but including the period from December 28th to January 3rd. Normal weekend DART services will operate between Pearse Station and Greystones. There will be no weekend DART services between Pearse and Howth/Malahide.

The southbound carriageway of the N11 is one lane between Loughlinstown and Wilford Interchange, until late August.

WICKLOW: Next Tuesday August 3rd until Thursday August 19th, road from Inchinappa, Ashford to Milltown North, Ashford will be closed. Access for southbound traffic will remain via Killoughter Rd. However access for northbound traffic is via the present slip road but when traffic reaches the roundabout it will be diverted to Rathnew and onto the coast road. This traffic will then be diverted into Ashford at Hunters Hotel via Mill Road. For the duration of this diversion Mill Road will be one way only from Hunters Hotel to Ashford. All traffic leaving Ashford will exit onto the N11 via the northern exit.

GALWAY: Pipelaying on the Barna to Galway Rd, R356, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until September 28th. Traffic one lane, expect delays.

The Galway races will take place until August 1st. Times: Wednesday and Thursday: 1.50 p.m. - 6.05 p.m., Friday: 5.10 p.m. - 8.30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday: 2.15 p.m. - 5.20 p.m. Expect extra traffic.

KILKENNY: Works on N25 between Glenmore and New Ross, 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Temporary traffic lights - long delays expected.

TIPPERARY: Works on N7 near Birdhill. Traffic control measures in place, significant delays expected.

LIMERICK: North Circular Rd closed from junction with O'Callaghan Strand at Stonetown terrace to its junction with Lower Shelbourne Rd at the Salesian roundabout. Alternative routes have been signposted.

Works on N20 between Croom and Banoge. Long delays expected. Alternative routes will be clearly signposted.

CORK: Works until August 27th, on both Michael Collins Bridge and Eamon De Valera Bridge. Single lane traffic will operate in both directions between the two bridges for work on bridge joints and pavements. Major delays are likely.

Rutland Street and Sawmill Street closed 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. today. Expect delays on South Mall due to resurfacing works from 9.30 a.m. today until Wednesday August 11th.

Waterfall Road closed from The Rise to County Boundary from 7 p.m. Friday July 30th to 7 a.m. Wednesday August 4th for realignment. Diversion Signs will be in place.

Douglas Road/High Street Bridge closed to inbound traffic for work on bridge joints and pavements.

Until September 5th, Oliver Plunkett St is closed from Princes St to Grand Parade and from Caroline St to Cook St for reconstruction works.
