DUBLIN:

Until October 20th in Dún Laoghaire, lane restrictions are in place at the Lower George's St Junction to facilitate works. A traffic management plan is in operation.

KILDARE:

Until November 12th, a stop-go system is in operation on the N78 between Ballylynan in Laois and Athy in Kildare.

MEATH:

Until Friday, October 20th, works will take place in Dunshaughlin on the N3 at its junction with the R125, Drumree to Ratoath Road. Work will be carried out during daytime hours, and a single-way traffic system will be in place. Delays are expected.

WESTMEATH:

The N52 Tullamore to Mullingar Road at Carrick Bridge, Dalystown is closed. The road is closed to all traffic at Carrick Bridge until October 25th, to allow for the replacement of the River Bridge at Carrick.

Alternative routes : Northbound traffic to Mullingar on the N52 from Tullamore and the N6 from Athlone will travel via the N6 from Kilbeggan through Tyrrellspass and divert at Rochfortbridge along the R400 to Mullingar.

Southbound traffic from Mullingar on the N52 will divert via the R400 to Rochfortbridge and via the N6 to Kilbeggan.

KILKENNY:

Until the end of October approximately there will be a full road closure on the N10 between Danesfort and Stoneyford. Diversions are in place via Knocktopher and Thomastown on the N9, and also via Gowran.

LOUTH:

Until approximately October 24th roadworks are in place on the N2 at Collon. A stop-go system with single lane restrictions will be in place on a 24-hour basis.

GALWAY:

Delays are likely on the N59 at Moycullen Village until October 20th due to road works in operation. Major delays are likely between 9am and 5pm, for traffic travelling into and out of Galway city.

Until October 31st roadworks are in place on the N18 between Ennis and Galway at Barefield and also at Crusheen heading towards Gort. Drivers on the N18 at Crusheen heading towards Gort will face a stop-go system where traffic will be reduced to one lane.

SLIGO:

Major roadworks and temporary lights are in operation on the N59 at Abbeytown in Ballysadare from 7.30am to 6pm until approx November 15th.

TIPPERARY:

Resurfacing works are taking place until late November, on the N8 between Cashel and Horse & Jockey. Temporary traffic lights are in operation. Some delays are to be expected.

CORK:

From 10am yesterday, right-turn manoeuvres on the N28 travelling south are prohibited at the following locations: From the N28 on to the Board of Works Road, and from the two cul-de-sacs (on same side of the carriageway) between the Board of Works Road and the Shannonpark Roundabout in Carrigaline. Furthermore the right turn from the Board of Works Road on to Carr's Hill shall also be prohibited.
