DUBLIN:

From August 30th to September 1st, Fitzwilliam St will be closed. During this period, traffic wishing to travel from Irishtown Road to Bridge Street via Fitzwilliam Street, will be diverted via Irishtown Road - Bridge Street.

Until Friday, August 25th, Knockmaroon Road is closed to traffic, from 10am to 4pm daily.

The closure is to facilitate road safety works and is from the Knockmaroon Gate junction with Upper Glen Rd and Knockmaroon Gate in the Phoenix Park.

From August 28th 2006 to August 26th 2007, Balbutcher Way, D 11 will be closed. This is due to ongoing works relating to the regeneration of Ballymun.

Until 4pm on August 25th, Kilshane Rd is closed from its junction with Bay Lane to the North Rd at Kilshane Cross. The alternative route is via North Rd (N2); Ward Rd; Rathoath Rd; North West Business Park Distributor Rd and Kilshane Rd.

Until December 23rd, Forbes Lane is closed between its junction with Marrowbone Lane and Pim Street. During the period of closure, traffic between Long's Place and Marrowbone Lane is being diverted via Robert St South/ Newport St/Pim Street.

On August 26th and 27th Queens Rd/Windsor Terrace/Newtownsmith/Park Road are all closed. The closures are to facilitate events for the festival of world cultures. Local and emergency services access will be maintained at all times. Diversions will be signposted.

Mark Street, Dublin 2 - between its junctions with Townsend Street and Mark's Lane - from 6am until 8pm on Saturday August 26th, 2006 will be closed. During the period of closure, the following diversion routes will apply:- 1. Traffic travelling north on Mark Street will be diverted via Pearse Street - Tara Street - Townsend Street.

2. Traffic travelling south on Mark Street will be diverted via Townsend Street - Lombard Street - Pearse Street. Local vehicular and full pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

CORK:

Douglas Street is closed from Abbey Street to Langford Row from 7am to 7pm for resurfacing until Thursday August 24th.

Clashduv Road is closed from Glasheen Road to Togher Road from 9.30am to 8pm for resurfacing works until Saturday, August 26th. Diversions are in place.

Redforge Road is closed inbound from Fitzs Boreen to Brother Delaney Road from 9.30am to 8pm until Friday, September 1st.

Until late December, Youghal Bridge is reduced to one lane with temporary lights for maintenance work. Major delays are expected during peak times and on the weekends. Youghal Bridge is located (approx) 1.6kms East of Youghal on the N25 main Cork/Waterford Rd.

Merchants Quay is closed eastbound from 6am to 6pm until Friday, August 26th, to allow works to be carried out on the footpath.

TIPPERARY:

Road Resurfacing Works are underway until November 2006 on the N8 between Cashel and Horse and Jockey. Temporary traffic lights will be in operation. Medium delays are to be expected. South Tipperary County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
