DUBLIN: Kilmacud Rd Upper will close between Stoney Rd & the Dundrum Main St on Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday November 1st at 6 a.m., to complete a new Taney high voltage station. Local access will be maintained at all times.

Western access to Old Naas Rd from Naas Rd (N7) will be closed from today until Wednesday November 10th, inclusive. This is for construction of initial works for the tie-in of the Outer Ring Road to Old Naas Road.

Gas works are taking place on the Monkstown Rd, one-way system is in place. Traffic travelling towards Monkstown will be diverted via Stradbrook Rd, Monkstown Ave & Carrickbrennan Rd. Citybound traffic will be unaffected by these works. Bus services affected by the diversion will operate on Seapoint Avenue.

WICKLOW: Resurfacing on N11 Newtown Mountkennedy Bypass. Traffic one lane both ways from Newtown to Kilpedder. Get into lane well before the works to avoid further delays.

WESTMEATH: Temporary roundabout on N6 at Tullamore junction in Kilbeggan now operating as a permanent roundabout. Care is needed.

CARLOW: Resurfacing on N80, Carlow/Wexford road at section about three km north of Ballon. Traffic single lane, controlled by traffic lights. Works from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KILKENNY: Works and temporary traffic lights on the Carlow Rd at Clara. Expect delays.

MONAGHAN: Traffic lights and 30 mph speed limits on N2 at Monaghan town, for construction of a new right hand lane. Outbound lane is closed.

DONEGAL: One lane closed on Pearse Rd, Letterkenny. Diversions for traffic from Oldtown towards Station Roundabout/Derry Rd via Niall T Blaney Rd.

GALWAY: Resurfacing on N18 between Kilcolgan and Ardrahan. Traffic lights will be in operation and delays expected.

KERRY: Institute of Technology in Tralee will hold annual Conferring Ceremonies at Brandon Conference Centre at Princess Quay on Friday. There are four graduating sessions at 9.15 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m.: there will be approx. 1,200 people at each session. Delays likely.

This will probably lead to traffic delays approaching Tralee from the Dan Spring Road or the Tralee-Dingle Road. It will also affect traffic on Princess St.

LIMERICK: Road between Main St in Croom and Honeypound Cross closed until 6 p.m. on Wednesday October 29th, for construction of a foul sewer and surface water sewer. Diversions will be signposted and local traffic will be accommodated.

TIPPERARY: Works on R445 Limerick Rd out of Nenagh between Careys Glass and Springfort Cross Junction. Traffic one lane, and temporary traffic lights. Please use alternative routes.

CORK: Pope Quay closed today from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for road reinstatement works.

Works on Monahan's Road tomorrow and Friday: delays likely between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Sawmill Street closed from White Street to Rutland Street from 9.30 a.m. tomorrow to 5 p.m. on Friday for resurfacing.
