DUBLIN: To repair the bridge at Rathcoole Interchange, the bridge will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians until late December.

For the pre-Christmas rush, all DART and Commuter services will operate normally every day and weekend from now up to and including 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Normal weekend services on Belfast and Sligo routes as well. No rail services on Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day. Full services on all routes on 27th December, for first day of post-Christmas sales. Normal weekend services on Belfast and Sligo routes.

The Luas night link will operate until December 23rd. Trams will run every half hour from 12.30. The last tram inbound is at 2.30 a.m. and outbound at 3 a.m.

Christmas Nightrider Dublin To Newbridge / Naas: Buses depart Busáras (Store Street): 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m. via: Ha'penny bridge, Heuston Station, Inchicore, Newlands Cross, Citywest, Rathcoole bypass, Kill Junction, Naas, Newbridge.

Buses depart Newbridge: 1.20 a.m. and 4.20 a.m. via: Naas, Sallins, Clane, Dublin.

Operation for December, 2004: - 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th. Service resumes as normal, i.e., Friday and Saturday from January 7th, 2005

KILDARE: Works at Johnstown and Kill, in connection with N7 road widening and interchange scheme.

MEATH: Works and temporary traffic lights north of Ashbourne on N2.

WESTMEATH: Works on Athlone Bypass: overtaking lane blocked for two km from roundabout on Dublin side of Athlone.

MONAGHAN: One-way shuttle works on N2 Carrickmacross bypass. Temporary traffic lights, between Ardee and Carrickmacross, three miles south of Carrickmacross. Delays are likely.

SLIGO: Construction of safety barrier on Central Reserve of N4 between Carrowroe and Collooney. Delays are likely.

LEITRIM: Waterworks on N16 between Glenfarne and Manorhamilton at Our Lady's Hospital.

TIPPERARY: Roadworks on (R445) Limerick Rd out of Nenagh between Careys Glass & the Springfort Cross Junction.

LIMERICK: New taxi rank on O'Connell Street until Sunday 9th January, 2005.

CORK: Delays on N20 between Rathduff and Mallow for building the new "2+1" scheme.
