DUBLIN: On Saturday, the BUPA Great Irish Run is in the Phoenix Park, so there will be traffic restrictions: the following will be closed: Chesterfield Avenue from Phoenix to Mountjoy, 7am to 1pm; Ordnance Survey Rd, 9.30am to 1pm; Glen Rd, Upper Glen Rd to Islandbridge Gate, 10.15 to 12.15. Chapelizod Gate, Knockmaroon Gate and Islandbridge Gate closed to traffic (except Hospital traffic) from 10.15 to noon.

River Lane, Shankill closed from Monday April 11th for flood prevention works associated with Shanganagh River Management Scheme. Local access maintained. Alternative route via Rathsallagh Distributor Road in both directions.

Angelsea Row (off Capel St) closed between northern and southern tip of Millfront Façade, for re-development of the site.

Cathedral St closed for refurbishment of buildings. Pedestrian access on north footpath beside Pro-Cathedral.

LOUTH: Traffic management plan on Dundalk Western bypass. Northbound traffic will divert west at new roundabout, north of Dundalk Greyhound Track to new link road towards old N1 to Ballymascanlon roundabout, to existing CR97 (Faughert/Jonesborough Rd), east on new stretch of Western Bypass and then back to normal route. Southbound traffic unaffected. Speed limit of 50km/h.

On Saturday and Sunday, R177 Armagh Rd closed, 9am to 4.30pm for emergency roadworks. Alternative Routes from Dundalk to South Armagh, Forkhill N53 to Hackballscross, turn right across CR125 & CR113 to Drumbillagh Cross Roads.

SLIGO: Link road between Carraroe Roundabout and Tonafortes Rd closed. Alternative route via Old Tonafortes Rd junction with N4 north of Carraroe Roundabout.

WATERFORD: Peter St is closed for urban renewal works.

Roadworks on N25 on Dungarvan side of Kilmeaden. Traffic lights, 8am until 6pm daily.

LIMERICK: Works on N21 west of Newcastle West. Single lane traffic, Stop-Go System from 8am -6pm. They tend to cause traffic delays especially at peak times.

TIPPERARY: Watermain replacement works on N7 in Toomevara - delays likely.

KERRY: Major roadworks on the Conor Pass Road between Kilmore Cross and Conor Hill Viewing Park. Expect delays. Use N86 between Dingle and Camp via Annascaul.

CORK: A section of Point Road, Crosshaven closed from entrance to new Eastern Car Park to entrance to Piper's Yard.

Grattan Street closed from junction with Sheare's Street from 9.30am tomorrow until 5pm Thursday April 14th for resurfacing.

Traffic restrictions at Jack Lynch Tunnel, due to repair works. Southbound bore closed and northbound bore has contra flow from 8pm until 7am Monday to Thursday. From 7am Saturday until 6pm on Sunday. At other times the tunnel will operate normally subject to traffic calming and speed restrictions.

Watercourse Rd closed outbound from O'Connell St to Blackpool Bridge - use an alternative route.

St Patrick's Street and Daunt's Square closed from junction with Grand Parade. Access to Cornmarket Street from Kyrl's Quay and Lavitt's Quay only.
