Routes to avoid around the country
DUBLIN:
Resurfacing at Walkinstown Roundabout, Monday to Thursday nights, 7pm to 6am the following morning.
Roadworks on Drumcondra Road between Clonliffe Road and Binns Bridge, for central medium. Bus lane suspended. Two lanes of traffic being maintained, though disruption will occur.
Temporary road closure between M50 roundabout and R117 Enniskerry Road extended until September 30th, for advanced works on Glenamuck-Kilternan Water and Drainage Scheme. Alternative route via Enniskerry Rd, Kilgobbin Rd, Ballyogan Rd and vice versa. Traffic management plan in operation, diversions are signposted.
WICKLOW:
Works on N81, 8km south of Hollywood Cross until October, widening the road to provide a hardshoulder. Contra-flow traffic.
MEATH:
An 11.3km section of N52 Kells/Ardee Rd closed from Mandistown Cross to Cassidy's Cross, Grange. Diversion route via Slane.
Footpath reconstruction works on Railway St, Navan. No on- street parking.
LAOIS:
Roadworks on N8 between Durrow and Cullohill from 8am to 5pm. No traffic restrictions, but drive with caution.
CARLOW:
Resurfacing until next Monday on N9 Waterford/Dublin Road north of Carlow Town. Stop/go system in place.
CORK:
N72 East Fermoy Road closed from Olivers Cross to Lacknamona until Friday.
Parliament Bridge ,The Grand Parade, Tuckey Street and South Mall closed 6am to 9m on Saturday for the Ceili Mór Event. Parking in city centre streets limited, park & ride service every 10 minutes from 11am to 6.30pm.
Shanbally to Raffeen road, LS6473, closed between junctions of 'Shanbally Cross' and Raffeen Square. Closure is for laying broadband ducts.
KERRY:
Works on N21 from Castleisland to Dooneen. Delays expected.
LIMERICK:
L1144 Rosbrien Rd closed for laying of foul sewer pipeline until 5pm on Friday.
Road at Annacotty (LP1112) closed for improvement works, for 250 metres at Annacotty. Diversions signposted, local traffic is accommodated.
TIPPERARY:
Resurfacing works take place on the N24 Cahir Bypass until early November.
Roadworks on N24 Cahir/Tipperary Road at Ballydrehid.
WATERFORD:
Restrictions on N25 Dungarvan -Youghal Road for resurfacing at Kielys Cross. Delays can be expected until at least September 19th.
LONGFORD:
Until tomorrow, resurfacing on N5 at Richmond Street and junction with Main Street in Longford town. Traffic delays. Use alternative routes where possible.
LEITRIM:
Resurfacing on R280 between Belhavel & Killargue.
