As part of National Heritage Week, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland will open to the public on Tuesday, August 21st, from noon to 8pm, for Doctors on the Ball: Sports and Medicine in Ireland, celebrating Irish medicine’s sporting heritage. Photographs, trophies and other memorabilia will provide a unique insight into the historical links between sport and medicine in Ireland. There will be guided tours of the building at 6 Kildare Street, Dublin 2 at 12.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm, 5pm and 6.30pm.
