While architects spend their lives putting roofs over people’s heads, a group of them will be sleeping out in the open next Thursday, April 19th.

Ten of them, including Dermot Bannon, presenter of RTÉ’s Room to Improve, will tuck up under the stars to raise awareness of homelessness and of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland Simon Open Door campaign, during which you can book a one-hour consultation with an architect for a €50 donation to the Simon Communities of Ireland. This year’s Open Door days are on May 12th and 13th. See
