The Children’s Sunshine Home in Leopardstown, Dublin, has been caring for children with life-limiting conditions and their families since 1925, providing respite, home support, crisis and end-of-life care. Referrals are on the increase and here is a campaign that needs your support: they need help to build an adjoining hospice for children – the first in this country.
What are you doing tomorrow? The Family Fun Raceday takes place at Leopardstown Racecourse, with added attractions for all ages. Lunch at the Leopardstown Pavilion starts at 12.30pm (€40 per adult, €6.50 per child) and Hamleys, Build-a-Bear, the Custard Pie Puppet Company and the Front Runner Racing Club, among others, will distract and delight. Not forgetting the gee-gees. There is another family raceday on Sunday, May 9th.
