Maura Reynolds, from Dublin, has collected old Irish coins and transformed them into cufflinks, along with coins from 16 other eurozone countries, giving them all a certain currency. Who knows, they might even be currency again one day soon.
The cufflinks cost €39 and they make good gifts: when Bill Clinton was in Dublin two months ago, he was given a set of 1946 sixpence cufflinks, marking the year of his birth. See worldcoincufflinks.com or telephone 087-6823566.
