Connaught rugby player Johnny O'Connor has put his weight firmly behind the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland mountain bike challenge, which takes place in Killaloe, Co Clare on October 16th and 17th.

Billed as Ireland's first multi-day mountain bike stage race, the fund-raiser will take in more than 80km in four stages. You don't have to be a competitive mountain biker to participate. The fundraising target is €75 for bike riders taking part in only one day, and €150 for the two days. For further information, see ms-ireland.com.
