Question of the Week on The Women’s Podcast: What would you do with an extra 100 euro a month?

Our question of the week is a budget related conundrum

Each week on the podcast, the presenter Irish Times journalist Kathy Sheridan asks listeners a question and this week in Episode 5 she wants to know: “It’s budget time and if by some miracle Budget 2016 handed you an extra 100 euro in your pocket every month, what would you do with it?”

If you’d spend it, what would you splurge on? And if you planned to save any extra cash, what would you save it up for?

“What is making me happy? Curling up in bed with my boyfriend and our three cats to have a weekend filled with netflix, hot water bottles and cuddles,” says a woman called Charisma by email. “I really hope it’s her real name,” said Sheridan.

Patricia Byrne tweeted to say what was making her happy were the sunflowers in her neighbours garden and she sent us a glorious picture of those flowers too.

Angela says also tweeted to say: “My divorce is nearly through. Happy days and relief every day that I’ve come this far”.

And finally in an email that made us very happy, Brid O’Donnell says that The Women’s Podcast is making her very happy at the moment:

“I started listening to podcasts since the beginning of September and yours was one of the first i subscribed to and damn, am I impressed. I love it. I can’t actually express in words how awesome I think your podcast is.”
