Jean Trimbach is the 12th generation of winemakers in the Trimbach family since 1626, whose vineyards are situated in Ribeauville, a picturesque village in Alsace.
Alsace Grand Cru Rieslings are some of the world's finest white wines and readers of The Irish TimesMagazine will have the opportunity to taste eight wines selected by Jean Trimbach, including two vintages of one of Trimbach's renowned Cuvee Frederic Emile, 2002 and 2004. The tasting takes place on Tuesday, June 29th, at 6.30pm in The Irish Timesbuilding in Tara Street, Dublin 2, and our wine writer, John Wilson, will be on hand. Tickets are €20, with all proceeds going to Cystic Fibrosis charity. Please book online at irishtimes.com/winetasting.
