Sing Along Cinema combines the silliness and pure fun of a karaoke party with the kitsch extravaganza of classic musical cinema. At Sing Along Cinema, the audience is the star.

Each month at the Button Factory in Dublin’s Temple Bar, there are plans to screen an iconic musical, which will be presented on the big screen with full karaoke subtitles. Add in a mega sound system and interactive lighting, and you’ll have a laugh . . . Think of it as movieoke mayhem.

An irreverent host will encourage the crowd to sing along with the big numbers, give everyone their cues and heckle some of the sillier dialogue moments. You’re invited to go in character, if you like, dance in the aisles, and sing your heart out. Seating is cabaret-style, and cocktails and popcorn will be served.

First up is Grease, next Friday night at 8.30pm, followed by The Wizard of Ozon Friday, February 25th. Admission is €9.50. See singalongcinema.com, and for advance booking, tickets.ie.
