THE SOCIAL NETWORK:The French ambassador Mme Emmanuelle d'Achon is hosting a champagne reception at her residence on Ailesbury Road next Friday to celebrate the opening of the 2012 Franco-Irish Literary Festival, which is being held at the Coach House at Dublin Castle and at the Alliance Française on Kildare Street from Friday until Sunday.
She is expecting around 150 guests
including French writers Chantal Thomas, Colette Fellous and Mathieu Lindon; Irish writers Kevin Barry, John Banville, Seamus Heaney, Siobhan Mannion, Belinda McKeon and Claire Keegan; gallerist Sebastian Guinness; Simon Taylor, CEO of the National Concert Hall, and Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD.
