BLOW THE SSIA

The sun is on its way . . . we hope. So splash out on some new garden furniture. Bellissima in Cork has a table and chair set that can be left outside all year round. The table has a ceramic top and costs €2,900, while each chair costs €450 (www.bellissima.ie). If you haven't got pockets quite that deep, there is up to 50 per cent off garden furniture until Monday at Meadows and Byrne branches (www.meadowsandbyrne.ie). We hear, too, that there's a good selection at outHaus, on the Airways Industrial Estate, Santry, Dublin 9 (www.outhaus.ie).

Thanks this week to Leah McBride, David Gardiner and Eoin Lyons
