SKIP THE BIG SKIP
Got lots of rubbish, garden waste or builder's rubble, but not enough to fill a full-size metal skip? Get a "Baby Skip" bag from Decwell's DIY on George's Street, Dublin 2. It costs just €13.99 for a large bag or €18.50 for a huge one, around three metres long. Under your arm, the package is no bigger than a shopping bag, but back home it unfolds into a heavy-duty fabric "skip" that can sit in your front garden. A normal skip will cost around €300 for just three days' hire. With a Baby Skip, you can take your time filling it, then ring 01-4299846 and they'll come and collect (€78 for the small one; €98 for the biggie).
