The price includes a half-day coach tour, a Mozart concert at Mirabel Castle, Salzburg and a walking tour of the Christmas markets and chocolate shops.
The Travel Department(thetraveldeparment.ie) has a three-day escorted tour to Budapest Christmas markets for €335, staying in a five-star hotel and departing December 6th.
Alternatively, the same company can get you to Cologne, on the same date, from €259 for a two-night stay in a four-star hotel.
Ebookers(ebookers.ie) has two-night Christmas market shopping trips to Brussels, including flights and hotel, from €214 and can get you to Tallinn on the same basis priced from €226 and Vienna from €248.
Kavanagh Travel(kavanaghtravel.com) has a five-day coach tour trip (including two nights on the ferry) taking in Christmas markets in Cologne, Antwerp and Bruges for €499, with a single supplement of €95.
Sunway(sunway.ie) has a 10-day river cruise option taking in trips to markets in Prague, Nuremberg, Vienna and Budapest, with prices starting at €1,249.
