The World's Best Awards survey results, taken by Travel and Leisure readers, are in and Ireland took the top spots when it comes to the best castle resorts. Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa took tenth place, Dromoland Castle took ninth, Ballynahinch came in at eight, Ashford Castle came in fifth, Sheen Falls made number three while Ballyfin Demesne in Co Laois took the number one spot with readers. The techies behind a hands-free audio tour app for motorists on the Wild Atlantic Way which was released last year and won Ireland’s 2018 Digital Media Award, have just launched a new service. The Cultural Roadmapp app is founded by Dr Leah Bernini Cronin and Deborah Schull, two Americans living in Ireland.
