Church bells across Dublin will ring out at lunchtime on Tuesday to welcome the Viking longship Sea Stallionas it completes its six-week voyage from Denmark. The ship will be moored at Custom House Quay, alongside a Viking-themed village that, from noon to 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, will re-enact battles, among other attractions.

Galway Sri Lanka Project, which helps people who lost homes, family and livelihoods in the tsunami of 2004, is staging Resilience, an exhibition of photographs by Sasha Bosbeer, at Galway City Library until August 20th.
