Wild Child Originals, the much-loved vintage furniture shop on South Great George's Street, Dublin, is relocating to Harold's Cross.

Owner William Walsh has been at this location for 13 years, selling clothing initially. The time is right for change, he says, and the new premises will only be open from 11am to 6pm on Saturdays and by appointment on weekdays. The George's Street shop will close its doors tomorrow, so get down there fast for the last relocation sale bargains. There are Danish leather sofas for €500 and Walsh says he's open to offers on everything else. Most reductions are between 50 and 70 per cent. Some covetable items include a 1970s black leather B&B Italia sofa and two armchairs that are reduced from €3,750 to €2,500; a 1960s orange Murano glass chandelier that was €2,500 is now €1,500; a pair of black leather and tubular chrome chairs that were €1,200, are now €900. There are also plenty of items for a couple of hundred euro or less.

Wild Child, 61 South Great George's Street, Dublin 2 (tel: 01-4755099) is open 11am-7pm today and 1-6pm tomorrow. The new shop is at 10-11 Greenmount Avenue, Harold's Cross, Dublin 12.www.wildchildoriginals.com.
