More than a million Irish people will be travelling across the globe to spend Christmas with their loved ones

Over the coming days Dublin Airport will once again look like a real-life scene from Love Actually, with thousands of families reuniting to celebrate Christmas together.

Last year 1.5 million people passed through the airport over Christmas with similar numbers expected to travel this year.
