NEED FOR SPEED: MOST WANTED U
7 cert, EA, Nintendo Wii U
Xbox and PS3 owners have had the latest version of
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
for several months, but Wii U owners have only just got their hands on it. The good news: it was worth waiting for, living up to the promise of its rival consoles and adding a few new features specifically for the Wii U. The main difference revolves around the Gamepad. You can play the game in full on the Gamepad, meaning you don’t need to take over the TV, but the real fun is in the co-driver mode. When you kick into co-driver, the second player has control over the race environment, so as you drive, they can use the Gamepad to make your journey easier or more difficult – removing traffic, for example, turning day into night, even directing you to certain challenges. It certainly helps if you don’t like the idea of driving around aimlessly, admiring the scenery and picking up the odd challenge when you feel like it.
