Kuala Lumpur - Malaysian authorities yesterday put further pressure on the reform movement of the detained former deputy premier, Mr Anwar Ibrahim, preventing his wife from speaking at public rallies and arresting 132 people including 17 foreigners.
Police surrounded the family home and dispersed supporters from the streets.
Meanwhile, Britain's Queen Elizabeth pursued her state visit to Malaysia which is to end tomorrow. She went to the top of the Petronas Towers, the world's tallest buildings, visited a shopping mall and a recording studio.
